1. Salem Lake
Spanning seven miles of trail, Salem Lake has nine stops around the lake. Each stop provides sign boards with adequate information on plants and wildlife creatures.
The stunning view of the lake makes for a pleasant biking experience.
The trail markers are directed counterclockwise and commence at the Point parking lot near the picnic area. Restrooms are available at Salem Lake Road and Linville Road near the playground.

2. Tsali Recreation Area
The Tsali Recreation Area is one of the popular trails among biking enthusiasts. The area’s challenging track is spread into 4 loops spanning 13.9, 11.9, 8.7, and 7.3 miles of single track offering views of incredible natural beauty. Buy a ticket before embarking on a trail at Horse Trailheads or Tsali Bike. Don’t forget to bring enough water.

3. Kings Mountain Gateway Trail
Kings Mountain Gateway Trail offers a space for several recreations. The trail stretches up to 5 miles including an 0.7-mile loop on the quarry railroad. With a couple of challenging slopes in the center, the trail features nine stations and a picnic spot. Along the trail, we are introduced to the amazing natural beauty of Kings Mountain.

4. Mountain-To-Sea-Trail
The trail, considered as one of the best biking trails, extends from the Great Smoky Mountains to the Outer Banks. Along the way, the trail features multiple stations with several scenic spots. Before going onto the trail, cyclists should prepare with appropriate gear, including a sturdy bike, helmets, and essential supplies.

5. Brevard Bike Path
Brevard Bike Path consists of a 5 mile long flat trail. One mile trail in the northwest end leads to the old Carr Lumber Company railway corridor and stretches into the Pisgah National Forest.
The bike path features an asphalt trail on most of the area and along the way provides access points to birdwatching(only by foot). Parking lot situated near the Sports Complear at about halfway trail.Link :-
