Cary is extending the event vibe with the Fest in the West on May 6th. The free community festival features music, arts & crafts, kids’ activities, and more. There will be two stages of entertainment showcasing some of the best talents in RTP.

4) Smithfield Ham & Yam Festival
Ham & Yam Festival celebrates agricultural products, ham biscuits, sweet potatoes, and live music. Smithfield Ham & Yam Festival takes place at Downtown Smithfield on May 6th. The festival features food trucks, kids’ activities, arts, music, and more.

5) Durham Greek Festival
The Durham Greek Festival, celebrated after three years since the pandemic, features Greek tavernas, artworks, crafts, fashion, jewelry, music, food, grocery, folk dance, church tours, and so much more.
