2. 82nd Airborne Division War Memorial Museum
The museum takes us through the story of the US Army’s All-American division. The division’s remarkable contribution to world war I & II and its active spirit in combating terrorism leaves us proud.
The museum features a collection of photographs of former division commanders, details of the 82nd division, training, skillset, and their role in warfare. Additionally, there is a theater to showcase the history of the 82nd Division and the museum.

Missile and More Museum tells us the story of native Americans who triumphed on the Island. The center presents the nc history military museum of missiles and the significance of the Island in sending men into space by NASA in project Bumblebee.

4. Battleship North Carolina Museum
The battleship, known as the most powerful and phenomenal weapon under sea, is a place where naval history feels alive. Explore the most intricately designed American battleship of WWII.

5. CSS Neuse Museum
The center preserves the remains of the steam-powered ram CSS Neuse. The gunboat takes us through the history of life in Kingston and eastern NC amidst civil war.
CSS Neuse allows us to interpret the ill fate of the naval forces under the sea barging to regain control over the lower Neuse River and attempting to conquer the New Bern city near the coast during the civil war.
Additionally, the museum features a 10-minute adaptation film and offers interaction with the ship’s wheel, knot tying, cognitive corner, gift shop, and much more.
